There’s actually no wrong way to do photography because it is art. So I leaned into experimenting with blurry grainy images and wound up having an amazing time.

Recently, we’ve been dreaming of doing more editorial-style boudoir sessions. We started off with an idea to use chains in a session.

I get asked a lot if Virago does couples boudoir, and yes we do! In couples sessions, we get to focus on celebrating your relationship and all the unique and beautiful ways you love each other. And you deserve to have those moments photographed.

A couple weeks ago, I got some new BDSM style props that I wanted to use in a session. I put out a call in my Badass Babes Facebook group for someone to do a session with the props…and let me share the photos.

I recently got to do this session just for fun, to play around, and to create some portfolio images, and I love them! While Corina is absolutely gorgeous, and should be a model, she is not one, so I guided her through the session like I do all my clients.

Spring is here, and the flowers in my garden started blooming! I knew I wanted to do a spring boudoir session with them in a quirky style. I’ve worked with model Ana-Alicia before, and knew she would be perfect for this!

We got about eight inches of snow in Asheville last week, and I was so excited to be able to do some snow boudoir photography! Here are some tips I learned from this shoot.

I wanted to test the light in the new downtown Asheville studio space before I painted and decorated. So I reached out to see if anyone wanted to model in the simple open white space to let me play around and test the light. I’m so happy Sarah was in!

Now that the weather is warm, I am constantly outside gardening, walking the dog, and hiking. So even though I love my studio, I’m called to create boudoir images outdoors. If you want to do an outdoor session, now is the time to book and grab a spot.

I found a vintage tv at a thrift store and wanted to incorporate it into a boudoir session. Luckily, I found Holland who was excited to be a little outside the box and play around with my ideas!
